First Saturday Art & Wine Walk
The Downtown Arts District in New Smyrna Beach offers monthly wine and art walks, opening receptions for gallery exhibits and artists' talks. On the first Saturday of every month, Arts on Douglas features an opening reception for an artist's solo exhibit. Participating Arts District galleries include Arts on Douglas, Atlantic Center for the Arts Harris House, Clay Gallery, Art Space and Artists Workshop.
June 3 Lighthouse by the Moonlight
Climb to the Moon at Ponce Inlet Lighhouse June 3, 6:45- 8:45 p.m. Experience the fantastic views of the sunset and the moonrise from atop the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse, 4931 S. Peninsula Dr., Ponce Inlet. Toast the setting sun and enjoy a guided tour of this National Historic Landmark.
Memorial Day at the Bandshell
As a Memorial Day tribute, the Symphonic Band and Concert Choir will perform the music of American Composers at 7 p.m. May 26 at the historic Bandshell on world famous Daytona Beach. In collaboration with the Friends of the Bandshell the band and choir will salute our veterans past and present who have defended the freedom of our country. Johan Philip Sousa's famous Stars and Stripes Forever will be heard while a brilliant fireworks dispaly burst over the pier. FREE ADMISSION.
